Schoolkids Records, a store in Ann Arbor, reportedly flew Robyn in from Britain to perform in celebration of their 14th anniversary (see images at right).
NOTE: Eddie's list suggests this Blind Pig show was cancelled and Robyn played in Albuquerque at "Ask Garrett," and indeed we have a listing of him coming back in October 1990 to play the Blind Pig, so he may be right. Robyn was touring in Texas and Arizona in May 1990 so he could easily have been in New Mexico as well. However, a recording of this show exists, and Robyn makes reference to having been at the venue before, so we presume this night's performance was in fact at the Blind Pig.
