The Soft Boys suffered a similarly muddied fate with their sound as well. [Referring to the shoddy sound on stage and inaudible vocals of opening act Prof and the Prophets].
I've seen this band in more impressive circumstances before - namely at the Elvis Costello free gig at the Roundhouse a few months back - so that it would again be grossly unfair to judge them on this outing.
