A collection of lost recordings and previously unreleased tracks. Most of the songs were recorded in 1978-79 during the sessions prior to A Can of Bees and Underwater Moonlight.
Original release on vinyl in 1983.
Included two order forms: one for T-shirts and another for the 'Live at the Portland Arms' cassette.
Reissued on CD in 1990 by Glass Fish Records and again on Rykodisc in 1992, each time with the same bonus tracks.
The live version of 'Wey Wey Hep Uh Hole' on the CD reissues was recorded at Lady Mitchell Hall, Cambridge in November 1978
