Reviews

A few additional show notes:
*He started with a few songs, then quipped that "the virus" got Kelley and that "Once again, I'm in the position of opening my own show."
*At one point, he led the crowd in deep breathing (maybe a Ted Lasso reference, with him being our Zava)
*He remarked that it looked like we'd all come out the other end of middle age and asked us, "How was it?"
*He mentioned that he would be back at Chicago's Old Town School in October.
*He mentioned (and imitated) Richard Thompson a few times--mostly because he'd noticed that RIchard Thompson had played SPACE several times.
*The final Emma song was actually Flesh #1/More Than This, then back to Flesh #1 again--a real 70s variety show move on R & E's part!
*At the encore, Robyn asked for requests and, in the face of the cacophony that resulted, said that there were some bugs to be worked out with democracy.
*The most noteworthy thing about "Ghost in Sunlight" (other than it was the one song I couldn't identify) is that it boasted several full-out Robyn screams, like nothing I've heard in any of his other songs.
