So the Iron Horse gig was great tonight. Robyn was in good spirits and played a bunch of my favorites. After the show he was signing things and chatting and there wasn't the usual mob scene / crowd control issues that afflict his big city shows (e.g., Boston).

In addition to selling the IWGB boxed CD set ($65), they're also auctioning cones. Remember the tour a couple of years back when Robyn was drawing cartoons on small orange plastic cones and the cones were on sale at the shows? Same thing but improved:
- Green cones (extra sturdy)
- Solid black rubber base (no accidental tipping!)
- Hand numbered (at least the 3 he sold tonight were)
Also it seems like the drawings won't rub off like they did on the orange cones.

The *auction* gimmick is kind of bogus but I'll save my gripe for a separate post.

The cones are very cool - cartoons with nice details. I think they're going to put pictures of all the cones online.
