Reviews

...a really enjoyable show, but it felt too short. I kind of wish I hadn't picked up the setlist afterward because Robyn had listed several songs that he cut from the set:
Ghost Ship
N.Y. Doll
...And More Again (Love)
Mexican God
Sometimes a Blonde
Creeped Out
the President
and Terrapin (Barrett)

Afterward, the hotel front desk let Robyn set up shop at their counter (CDs only--Ole Tarantula and the Rhino edition of I Often Dream of Trains). He stayed and signed things for people, and was more chatty than he often is. He signed a Soft Boys poster that I had found recently, and Robyn was curious about the going rate for it. He was a bit disappointed that it wasn't a higher priced item, but like I pointed out to him, it was the only one like this I had ever seen and I think I got the poster for less than it is worth. I'm not completely sure why it was printed, but it seems to be a promo item related to the Anglepoise Lamp single on Radar Records. It is fairly large, maybe 2 1/2 by 3 feet, and says The Soft Boys in odd three-dimensional letters, and then also uses normal, doubled letters above to make it clearer what is written below (TtHhEe SsOoFfTt BbOoYySs). No printing information or record company information is listed. (contact me for photos). Does anyone have some information about this one?
Anyway, I'm tired and rambling on. Time to get some sleep. later, Marc
