There comes a time when every mature groover wants to serenade their listeners with the highlights from their record collection. Conveniently for me, the core of my own personal faves comes from one year: 1967.
Having published 1967: How I Got There and Why I Never Left, and released the companion acoustic album, I’m now playing 1967: Live and Electric at The Chapel in San Francisco.
This gig is a one-night only affair and promises to be a psychedelic rock affair. The band will be: Kelley Stoltz, Dr Pete, Rusty Miller, Seattle’s own Kurt Bloch and me.
Our set list is a relatively even split of songs from British and American bands of the era: the Beatles, Pink Floyd, the Kinks, the Incredible String Band, the Doors, Love, Captain Beefheart and Country Joe & The Fish are among the artists that we’ll be covering. A splendid time is guaranteed for all!
Peace and love to Folkyeah Presents for having us. It's gonna be a stone groove.Setlist from SetlistFM
