Last night’s set list. A few people grabbed the paper lists from the stage at the end but Robyn discussed changing the order a couple of times during the set so hopefully this is better.
Autumn Sunglasses was when the band really kicked into gear IMHO, though there were many great moments. Robyn improvised on Flavour of Night for a few minutes while they got him a mic, which was absolutely delightful. The piano was off stage and we were sitting right there - I was basically three people away from RH playing this song, which was heady stuff.
Extra points to The Great Club for leaving the vacuum cleaner out all night. Seemed a very Robyn touch.
Robyn played a red Strat all night until Midnight Train, for which he swapped to a bone coloured Tele which he announced was signed by Todd Rundgren. Likely it was Lane’s as he shared the stage with TR last week.
