Reviews

From description of video uploaded by The Crypt Studio:

Troubadour Robyn Hitchcock recently joined us at The Crypt to perform lead track Harry's Day [sic] from his latest studio album, Love From London. It's a beautiful, soaring piano-led song, with his ever-lustrous lyrics resonating from within.

Hitchcock began his musical career busking around Cambridge some forty years ago, and has continued to do so through the last decade, which has seen him continue to release his trademark, quirky pop songs yet retaining his folky roots.

Hitchcock describes his songs as "paintings you can listen to." Love From London "celebrates life in a culture imperiled by economic and environmental collapse," he says. "We are surfing on the momentum of chaos. If a consensus on global warming comes from the people, then the media, the politicians, and the corporations will have to adapt to it. Rock and Roll is an old man's game now, so I'm staying in it." Enjoy.
