This gig does not appear in Kimberley's diary (nor in the gig listing Andy Metcalfe provided) perhaps because it is a Meatpackers show, not a Soft Boys show. The Soft Boys appeared at the Buccaneer bar on Jan 21 in 1980. However this 1978 date is listed in Punkmusiccatalogue.wordpress.com and is also seemingly referenced in the March/April issue of Negative Reaction reproduced in Kimberley's scrapbook (page 3); it is possible they played there on January 21 of both years.
