Opening for The Bangles.
It is unknown if Robyn opened any other shows for The Bangles around this time, but it would seem odd for him to travel to Germany for a one off support slot! In later years he remarked that he'd written "Balloon Man" with the Bangles in mind, perhaps it was this earlier encounter with them that inspired him.
