Notes
Info from Paisley - Oor Wee Toon & Environs on Facebook No's 9 - 11 Renfrew Road as it was in the 50's. The (original) Bungalow Bar is on the left corner of Niddry Street with Stewarts Licenced Grocers on the opposite corner at No.13 Renfrew Road. The building was demolished in the late 50's/early 60's and the building (which is now the 'Japan Street Food' Restaurant built in it's place) retaining the name 'Bungalow Bar', and going on to achieved its legendary punk venue status late 70's and 8o's, as well as having been popular music venue for local bands throughout that period. The Bungalow closed early eighties, allegedly due to damage done by Music fans and licencing infringements, and reinvented itself as 'The Stags Head', minus the bands.
