The Mudd Club was a legendary punk rock venue in New York City's Tribeca neighborhood. It was a place for underground music and counterculture events and was open from 1978 to 1983. The Mudd Club was located at 77 White Street in downtown Manhattan. It was opened by Steve Maas, art curator Diego Cortez, and downtown punk scene figure Anya Phillips.

The Mudd Club was a natural collision of fashion, art, music, and literature. It attracted some of the city's most well-known writers and artists, as well as some of the most important emerging musical acts of the era. The building has been converted into loft apartments.
