From Robyn on Patreon in 2025
Here’s a new song that I pretty much read off the autocue. It floated before my eyes as I sat with the guitar a couple of months ago, and all I had to do was sing it. I assume it’s a rewrite of some other country-type song, or a hybrid of several. If I wrote songs for other singers to cover, this would be one of them. It doesn’t feel like me at all, so I can’t see myself putting in on a record. I guess it’s a by-product of living in Nashville. It seems to be about delirious routine in accelerating times - something I’m sure folks can relate to across the board…
