A cat can absorb the darkest of secrets, the bleakest of fears into themselves and reveal not a trace, being the furry enigmas they are. I try not to burden our cats Tubby and Ringo with too much overspill from my toxic psyche, but they nonetheless absorb my moods and leave me feeling cleansed.
