“Rita The Fox” is based on a traditional British tune, “The Hunt”. Not being a fan of fox-hunting, I’ve re-named it after Rita, our local vixen, who sometimes sleeps on our roof here in London. Foxes have colonised this city, and will feel right at home if it goes back to the wild again. Last winter Lockdown closed the restaurants and left many urban foxes hungry for scraps of food. Rita dined in our back yard a lot earlier this year, and may yet again. Ringo and Tubby watched but stayed well clear of her… The guitars were played and recorded in Studio C.
