We have only written setlists to go on, so it's not certain this song is the 1962 R&B hit by the Contours, but this is our assumption as many British groups also recorded it in the years after its release, and the Soft Boys did later do other songs outside their usual genre such as Book of Love, In the Mood, I Sing a Little Tenor etc.
