Performing Bob Dylan's album 'John Wesley Harding' and other songs
From Robyn on social media
Howdy, friends! I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be performing Bob Dylan’s album John Wesley Harding on the 58th anniversary of its release, December 27th, at the Bearsville Theater, Woodstock. The songs on this LP were all written by Dylan up in Woodstock, where he was living at the time, wearing a black hat and staying well away from the world.
As 1968 loomed Dylan’s influence was at its zenith, and this was a key record in ushering rock music down from the psychedelic peaks of 1967 into the more reflective approach sometimes known as Americana.
Fast-forward to December 27th 2025: I’ll have a band with me so I’m not fixin’ to get tooo reflective. We’ll play a few additional songs by Dylan and other artists to give the album some context - 58 years has given me plenty of time to ponder this. See y’all there, folks!
Opening act: Emma Swift

Fun show last night. In addition to all the Dylan (favorite moments-- Frankie Lee and Judas Priest, Quinn the Eskimo, Dear Landlord, Queen Jane Approx (Emma), I Am a Lonesome Hobo (Luther Russell singing, Robyn on harmonica), If You See Her Say Hello (Sarabeth Tucek singing)), I got to realize a long-held dream of hearing Robyn covering a Stones tune (Dear Doctor, in the encores).
