Just another week gone by. Another pretty cool show at Georgia Hall with Robyn Hitchcock on the opening night of his US tour and Poi Dog Pondering returning here for the second time in a month or so.

If any of you were there at the 40 Watt the night before to see Souled American (a cool Chicago band that sounded like Soul Asylum playing Green on Red songs at the Grand Old Opry) you would have also seen the Falling Eggs a.k.a. Robyn Hitchcock play about an 8 song set using borrowed equipment. The Raw Sound was good.

This brings me to another topic. I have seen and heard all those personal attacks on Jared and Barrie's business, but keep in mind that Robyn Hitchcock (or REM for that matter) never plays a spur of the moment unannounced show at any other club, and you can not find out more about what is going on around here in any other magazine.
