1986 was when I caught this rising star. It seems “My Wife and my Dead Wife” was in heavier rotation on KBOO than KGON. I bought the “Trains” and “Hens” LPs to prepare.
First time seeing Napalm Beach on a big stage, laying waste to the New Wave denizens gathered in front. The Egyptians set seemed short, but energetic and precise.
Bouncy floor pogo frenzy during “Brenda’s Iron Sledge”. I think the encore began with “Uncorrected Personality Traits”, blowing my mind with psychological A cappella.
