GLASS FLESH was a tribute project put together by us, the fans, between 1994 and 2004. Robyn Hitchcock didn't have anything to do with it other than, obviously, writing all the songs. Two cassettes were made circa 1994 and the first CD came out in 1996; three more followed. Although quality of the tracks was variable, there were some real gems. Indie darlings such as Vic Chesnutt, Anton Barbeau and Elf Power participated; one cassette track featured Colin Meloy, later of the Decemberists, aged 12 at the time.
